Local Author to Discuss History of the San Joaquin Valley Railroad

Local author and historian, John Bergman, will speak about his book, The Southern San Joaquin Valley: A Railroad History, Fresno to Bakersfield, at the Visalia library on March 12th. This event--sponsored by the Friends of the Tulare County Library--begins at 7:00 PM and will feature a model railroad layout provided by the Visalia Electric Railroad Modelers. The Friends of the Library are selling sets of romance novels at the great price of $1 just in time for Valentine's Day. Each set contains 3 novels bound in colorful ribbon with candies attached. Please look for them on display in front of the circulation desk.
